Artificial intelligence in psychiatry: Present and Future

Abstract
Artificial Intelligence (AI) refers to the making of a computer or software-governed robot, which can make analysis of the situation and work like human brain. It is done by studying the ways of brain and replicating it in the devises which are human made for the purpose of limiting the work load on humans.
Despite the best efforts and the new advancements in AI, the intellect of humans and proficiency of the work provided by them is still unmatched. This has kept the requirement of human skill alive in the world market although some sides of development in AI have started posing a threat to the mankind in terms of cost effectiveness versus the quality of work produced by computer operated devises.

Key words: Artificial intelligence, psychiatry, health care.
