Abstract
Horner’s syndrome is a relatively rare complication of infraclavicular brachial plexus block than supraclavicular and interscalene brachial plexus block. We performed ultrasound-guided infraclavicular brachial plexus block with a mixture containing 20 ml of 0.5% levobupivacaine HCl with 5 ㎍/ml of epinephrine. 30 minutes after brachial plexus block, Horner’s syndrome appeared. It leads to patient’s anxiety, dissatisfaction and diaphragmatic involvement. We report the occurrence of Horner’s syndrome following a US-guided infraclavicular brachial plexus block performed by physicians with technical experience.

Key words: Brachial plexus, Horner’s syndrome, Ultrasound.
