Investigation into the clinical and neurological characteristics of men in infertile marriages

Abstract
Objective: To study the clinical and neurological characteristics of patients with infertility in selected cases in Uzbekistan.
Methodology: Neurological examination of 150 men with infertility and related psychological features was conducted from January to June 2025. Clinical manifestations were analyzed using Pearson correlation, and Chi-Square tests with p<0.05 considered significant.
Results: it’s conducted a detailed analysis of all subjective symptoms of the men we examined and combined them into specific symptom complexes in accordance with the ICD subcategories of the above disorder. Thus, two main symptom complexes can be identified in men in infertile marriages: somatoform disorders (F45.0) and neurasthenia (F48.0).
Conclusions: Men with infertility often experience neurasthenia and somatoform disorders, which significantly affect their quality of life and reproductive health. The need for further study of these relationships highlights the importance of integrating psychological and neurological aspects into the diagnosis and treatment of infertility.
