Usama Bin Zubair.

Abstract
Causes behind the behaviors but not the behaviors should be looked at and addressed; this is the line we narrate to all the patients who have emotionally unstable personality traits and are managed with Dialectal Behavior Therapy. Borderline personality disorder has always been a fancy area for clinicians but is also a stigmatized diagnosis made in mental health settings. Despite a lot of pharmacological and non-pharmacological techniques, these patients have the tendency to drain the service and service providers. Mental health professionals usually feel less equipped when it comes to help the patients with emotionally unstable personality.1 Looking into the way a personality of individual gets shaped over the life time may equip parents, teachers and mental health professionals with skills to prevent the development of borderline traits and manage them effectively at various stages of life.

Key words: Personality disorder, parenting, Borderline personality.
