Abstract
Objective: To measure Anti mullerian Hormone (AMH) concentration as a true ovarian marker in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), fibroids and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism (HH).
Methodology: This study was a prospective comparative trial conducted from January to November 2014 at Department of Animal science, Quaid –e –Azam University in collaboration with Salma & Kafeel Medical Center, Islamabad, Pakistan. A total of 128 females were enrolled in the study.
Results: Significant increase (P<0.001) of AMH concentration in PCOS was observed. Whereas significant decrease (P<0.05, P<0.01) was found in fibroids and hypogonadotropic hypogonadism, respectively. Significant negative correlation between AMH and Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), prolactin (R= -1, P<0.001; R= -1, P< 0.001 and R= -1, P<0.01, respectively) was observed in Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism (HH). High Significant negative correlation between AMH and prolactin (R = -1, P<0.001) was also observed in fibroids.
Conclusion: AMH is a true ovarian marker in PCOS, fibroids and Hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism infertile female patients and it is a reproductive tool to measure infertility.

Key words: Infertility, AMH, PCOS, hypogonadotropic Hypogonadism, fibroids.
